Technology Summer Analyst

About the role#

The Technology Summer Analyst program is a 10-week, project-based internship designed to provide a real-world experience of working as a technologist in the financial services industry. Analysts are placed into specific development, engineering, or business and data analytics teams. The program includes an induction day, senior management networking events, technical demonstrations, and team-building opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Development Teams: Design, develop, and maintain applications. Tasks include gathering requirements from clients, making system design decisions, integrating software, and deploying applications to production. Projects may include building high-performing electronic trading systems and managing complex workflows.
• Enterprise Engineering Teams: Develop tools, platforms, and infrastructure, including networks, hardware, operating systems, and databases. Projects involve engineering websites, managing the Windows environment, and developing client reporting systems.
• Business & Data Analytics Teams: Engage with business units to analyze, capture, and validate requirements. Provide technical, data analytics, and process excellence skills to solve business challenges and support end-to-end solution development.

What you'll need#

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in technology or a related field.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or Economics, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
• Experience in object-oriented development and a strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Java, or C#, along with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• A keen interest in the financial services industry.

• Compensation: Paid position with an expected base pay rate between $70,000 and $110,000 per year.
