About the role#
This paid, full-time internship offers a view of commercial construction through our 12-week summer program. You will work on-site in Myrtle Beach, gaining exposure to project management and field operations. You will collaborate with project teams and trade partners while learning how we deliver projects in the Carolinas.
What you'll do#
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation.
- Work with Superintendents to understand daily jobsite operations, sequencing, and trade partner coordination.
- Participate in jobsite walks, planning sessions, and project meetings.
- Track project schedules and construction progress.
- Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope.
- Document jobsite progress through field reports and photos.
- Assist with quality control and punch list activities.
- Promote a safe, organized jobsite while learning safety procedures.
- Learn construction technology and project management software.
- Participate in intern programming, team events, and volunteer opportunities.
- Complete a final presentation on your experience and contributions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in a related field or a construction management program.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
