About the role#
MNP is hiring a Co-op Accountant for our Assurance and Accounting team in Brockville for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work with a team of professionals to provide financial information and advisory services to our clients.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and tax.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in financial documents and reports.
- Draft technical reports, client summaries, and presentations to share engagement findings.
- Work with the client engagement team and maintain relationships with client contacts.
What you'll need#
- Working towards or have completed a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration, with a preference for accounting or finance majors.
- Progress toward meeting prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
- Previous office experience in accounting is helpful.
- Experience in customer or client service is an asset.
- Familiarity with tax and accounting software is a plus.
