About the role#
This is a full-time Electrical Engineering internship at MKS Inc. based in Andover, Massachusetts. The assignment runs from January to April 2027. You will work on-site to support new product development within the Power Solutions division, reporting directly to an Engineering Manager.
What you'll do#
- Automate engineering tests.
- Analyze data to help solve complex problems.
- Work hands-on with high power RF systems.
- Use a variety of test equipment.
- Assist in documentation creation and markup.
- Review system design specifications and help determine compliance.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Experience or interest in using lab equipment.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or electrical simulation software like Spice is helpful.
- Ability to perform activities like sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.

- Location: Andover, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $29.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days for those working at least 20 hours per week.
