About the role#
Mitsubishi Power Americas is looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to join our team in Lake Mary, Florida. This internship provides hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines including content creation, web management, social media, and email campaigns. You will work with the Marketing Communications team to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement while learning how digital marketing supports business growth in the energy industry.
What you'll do#
- Update website content and perform quality assurance to ensure an engaging user experience.
- Manage CRM tasks including contact segmentation, form creation, and building landing pages.
- Draft copy for social media, email communications, and various marketing materials.
- Monitor performance across digital channels and build reports, dashboards, and presentations to share key metrics.
- Conduct research on competitors, target audiences, and industry trends.
- Assist with SEO projects such as keyword research, content audits, and metadata optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate marketing deliverables.
- Follow all safety policies and protect confidential company information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s (Junior or Senior) or master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools like CMS, SEO, web analytics, CRM, and email platforms.
- Experience with WordPress or Drupal is preferred.
- Ability to interpret marketing metrics, ratios, and performance data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at our Lake Mary, Florida headquarters.
- This is a paid internship with a minimum commitment of one year.
- You must be able to work at least 20 hours per week, with up to 28 hours during the school term and up to 40 hours during school breaks or summer.
