About the role#
Engineering interns at Mission Critical Group join the Power Systems division to work on projects related to electrical power equipment and metal structures. You will receive assignments based on your degree program and previous experience. You will work both independently and alongside staff to complete technical tasks. This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Caldwell, Idaho.
What you'll do#
- Design and produce electrical power equipment and metal structures.
- Participate in product design for internal needs and customer projects.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers, project managers, and production personnel.
- Plan, manage, and conduct tests, then analyze the results.
- Document design processes and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to apply academic concepts to real-world engineering challenges.
- Knowledge of job site safety regulations.
- Reliable attendance and a responsible approach to work.
