About the role#
As a Sponsorship Activation intern, you will ensure team sponsor promotions and events are planned, fulfilled, and executed. You will support both the Minot Hot Tots and the Minot Honeybees, working closely with the entertainment team to deliver a positive experience for fans and partners. This role requires a presence at all home games and various community events throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Plan, execute, and track sponsor promotions and events while providing frequent updates to the Sponsorship Experience Director.
- Update the Asana platform with promotion and event elements and assist in preparing sponsorship recap booklets.
- Attend weekly sponsorship meetings to contribute new ideas.
- Manage activation elements, such as updating signage, distributing items, and inserting handouts into programs before home games.
- Assist with the set-up and tear-down of the Family Fun Zone, ballpark areas, and event spaces.
- Organize and inventory game day entertainment and sponsor materials.
- Support on-field entertainment, organize Dash Jersey Auctions, and manage on-field pickups.
- Represent the team at community events, mascot appearances, and player appearances.
- Distribute team pocket schedules and marketing materials throughout the community.
- Perform as the team mascot at least once during the summer.
- Assist with ballpark clean-up after home games.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant field of study, such as Marketing, Communications, or other related disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- An outgoing, charismatic, and personable nature.
- Ability to display confidence in front of an audience and on camera.
- Capacity to perform well and maintain character under stress.
- Creative thinking skills and the ability to take initiative.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong leadership qualities.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working attitude.

- Location: Minot, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10th to August 13th).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with a monthly stipend.
- Housing: Available upon request (intern is responsible for utilities).
