About the role#
The Graphic Design & Game Presentation Internship offers an immersive look at marketing, branding, and live-event production. You will work across sponsorship, entertainment, and marketing departments to support the team through creative design and event execution. This position begins as a remote role before transitioning to an on-site experience for the summer season.
What you'll do#
- Design creative materials for sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, and events.
- Create and execute motion graphics and video board content for games.
- Support the marketing team with social media graphics, website updates, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan theme nights, book entertainment, and develop on-field promotions.
- Produce print collateral such as posters, flyers, and coupons.
- Maintain organized creative assets in Asana and assist with in-house printing and proofing.
- Operate the video board during home games, including managing player content and sponsor ads.
- Post starting lineups and final scores to social media.
- Support fan experience and live entertainment during all home games.
- Maintain office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM on non-game days and distribute marketing materials in the community.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Canva.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Comfort performing under pressure and in front of crowds.
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs and work extended hours, including long days during home games.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude that embodies the team core values: Experience Obsessed, Positive Energy, Innovate Constantly, and Community Builder.
Location & details#
- This internship runs from February 1, 2027, to August 8, 2027.
- The period from February through May 17 is remote.
- The period from May 18 through August 8 is on-site in Minot, North Dakota.
- This is an unpaid internship that includes a monthly stipend and provided housing during the summer portion.
