About the role#
Minnkota Power Cooperative is hiring an Information Technology Intern to work at our headquarters in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This is a part-time, temporary position. Pay starts at $19.57 per hour, depending on your educational status and experience.
What you'll do#
You will work with our IT department on a variety of technical tasks. Your daily responsibilities include:
- Managing IT assets and hardware implementation.
- Handling system and application patching.
- Assisting with system and application administration.
- Supporting cyber security and compliance efforts.
- Writing policy and procedural documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a computer-related program, such as Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A genuine interest in technology.
