About the role#
The Milken Institute is hiring an intern to support the Business and Program Development team. This position is a paid, full-time opportunity based in New York. You will work on engagement strategies, research industry prospects, and manage outreach data. This role involves building knowledge of existing relationships to help grow the Institute network. The internship lasts up to one year.
What you'll do#
- Support the Business and Program Development team with daily operations.
- Create engagement strategies and research target industry prospect lists.
- Manage outreach efforts and related data.
- Use AI systems to streamline projects and support events.
- Interact virtually with staff across the organization.
- Travel occasionally to local venues to assist with events.
What you'll need#
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and produce quality work with minimal supervision.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to multi-task and manage complex projects.
- A team-oriented mindset with an attitude that no job is too small.
- Skill in working with people and supporting senior-level decision-makers.
- Ability to learn and adapt projects using AI tools.
- Critical and creative thinking skills for problem-solving.

Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office (Tuesday through Thursday).
- Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week.
- Eligibility: You must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
