About the role#
The Test Solutions Engineering Key Equipment Group develops and supports wafer probe equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. As an intern, you will work with experienced engineers to test and validate equipment and process solutions. This role focuses on hands-on projects, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork to help you build skills for future engineering positions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, validation, and deployment of wafer probe hardware, software, and process improvements.
- Design and run experiments using statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques to evaluate performance.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and recommend ways to improve quality and efficiency.
- Create technical reports and presentations to share project findings.
- Use AI-enabled tools and automation to improve engineering productivity and data analysis workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with statistics, data analysis, and DOE through projects or research.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Experience using AI tools or automation to support engineering tasks.
