About the role#
The Signal Integrity Research and Development team enables the electrical performance of memory and storage products. You will support the design, analysis, and validation of high-speed memory interfaces and power distribution networks. Working with experienced engineers, you will use modeling, simulation, and measurement to evaluate performance and contribute to future technology initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support signal and power integrity analysis for high-speed memory interfaces and power distribution networks.
- Collaborate with silicon, package, product, validation, and system engineering teams to ensure electrical performance.
- Develop and evaluate die, package, PCB, and system-level models to identify performance risks.
- Apply AI-enabled tools and agentic workflows to improve engineering efficiency, automate analysis, and support technical problem-solving.
- Contribute to methodology development, standards exploration, and documentation of technical findings.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience through internships, research, academic projects, or laboratory work.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, transmission lines, high-speed interfaces, PCB design, or electromagnetic fundamentals.
- Experience with electrical simulation, modeling, or laboratory measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in programming, scripting, or automation using Python or MATLAB.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI assistants, large language models, or AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity and data analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards like JEDEC, ONFI, or IBIS is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
