    About the role#

    As an intern with the Yield Technology RAM group, you will support process engineering, Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA), and metrology activities in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work alongside engineers and technicians to gain hands-on exposure to fab operations, equipment workflows, data analysis, and recipe support. This role is designed for a student interested in how advanced memory products are developed, measured, and improved.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete onboarding, safety training, and certifications to build foundational knowledge of fab operations.
    • Support Fab 4 Process Development Engineering, Process Integration, RDA, and metrology teams with data collection, basic analysis, tool support, and documentation.
    • Provide supervised support for SEM, defect review, and incoming fab requests, including tracking status and summarizing results.
    • Assist with analysis for Fab 4 Yield Engineering part types, including DRAM and emerging memory development.
    • Contribute to an internship project using Artificial Intelligence to identify and implement improvements in RDA, metrology, process improvement, data analysis, automation, or recipe workflows.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Data Science, or a related technical field.
    • Graduation date must be September 2027 or later.
    • Basic coursework or interest in semiconductor processing, manufacturing, materials characterization, metrology, or defect analysis.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OneNote.
    • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all cleanroom and quality requirements.
