About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to work on engineering projects at our Fountain Inn, South Carolina facility during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in an industrial plant environment while working alongside teams to support product, process, material, and method development.
What you'll do#
- Apply best practices and design rules within your area of engineering expertise.
- Support projects that impact product, process, materials, and methods.
- Participate in technology and patent watch activities to stay informed on industry developments.
- Collaborate with team members to share solutions and resolve technical difficulties in the field.
- Develop your professional skills through structured training and coaching sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- A major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
