About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Emporia, Kansas. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility. This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, as well as Computer Science.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate potential solutions by weighing costs, deadlines, risks, and functional requirements.
- Support prototype projects led by our process development teams.
- Conduct integration studies in collaboration with other business units.
- Manage change requests using the established DE/Release process.
- Implement quality systems and group methods to maintain operational standards.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team to reach common goals.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis, as we do not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
