About the role#
We are looking for a Structural Intern to join our Jacksonville office for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under close supervision to support our team on vertical building projects. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist Structural Engineers with engineering analysis, design drawings, and project details.
- Review shop drawings for construction.
- Complete construction administration tasks within the office.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 3 years of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- A basic understanding of structural steel, concrete, and masonry design.
- Proficiency in the latest versions of MS Office.
- Experience with Enercalc, RAM, ETABS, RISA, or STAAD is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Candidates focusing on building structures are preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
- The work is hybrid or on-site, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
- Pay ranges from $18 to $26 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
