About the role#
Michael Baker International is hiring a part-time Bridge CADD Technician Intern for the Bridge group in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. You will work in an office setting under the direction of civil engineering professionals to build your technical skills and gain experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Learn to use 2D and 3D CADD software through tutorials and on the job training.
- Prepare engineering drawings and visual aids.
- Draft structural details and complete CADD revisions.
- Develop or check reinforcing bar charts for structural members.
- Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation.
- Work under the supervision of a senior level team member.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Successful completion of high school geometry.
- Interest in pursuing a potential Bridge CADD Technician position after the internship.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Previous CADD software experience or formal CADD education is a plus.
