About the role#
Michael Baker International is hiring part-time interns to support field projects in the geospatial discipline. This role involves working alongside GIS analysts and project managers on indoor mapping field collection efforts. You will perform technical duties and daily activities to support project success.
What you'll do#
- Assist with indoor mapping field collection projects.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced GIS analysts and project managers.
- Complete technical tasks and daily project activities.
- Be available to work during weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in GIS, Geography, Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in GIS software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Proficiency in organizing and presenting documentation.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship.
- Positions are available in Santa Ana, California, as well as locations in Kansas, Illinois, and Maryland.
