About the role#
Michael Baker International is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. Based in our San Diego office, you will join the Electrical Engineering team to support various technical duties and project assignments. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare engineering calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
- Assist project managers and engineers with daily tasks.
- Draft project details and make minor revisions in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Work under the direct supervision of a project manager or senior team member.
- Help with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least 2 years of coursework is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A college-level course in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Experience with CAD software is a plus.
