About the role#
Michael Baker International is looking for a Bridge Intern to join the Structural Engineering team in Detroit, Michigan. You will work under the supervision of project managers and senior team members to support technical projects and daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers and engineers with technical tasks.
- Prepare engineering calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
- Draft details and complete minor CAD revisions based on feedback.
- Handle data collection, input, verification, and manipulation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

- Location: Detroit, Michigan.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
