About the role#
The EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) team supports the Department of Subways by tracking major assets. As an intern, you will learn how the agency manages the storage, maintenance, repair, and replacement of assets across the subway system. This is a full-time, on-site internship for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Write software scripts for data transformation and use SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot the EAM application and resolve production issues.
- Work with stakeholders to find new ways EAM solutions can support the organization.
- Document and maintain standards for software implementation.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on your data findings.
- Manage tasks to move projects forward, including work on track construction and station maintenance.
What you'll need#
- You must be a matriculated undergraduate student with at least a 2.5 GPA or a graduate student with at least a 2.8 GPA.
- Preferred majors include Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
