About the role#
This internship supports the Department of Subways with construction project management. You will work on data related to job progress, construction activities, employee assignments, and schedules. This is a paid, on-site position based in Brooklyn, New York, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Learn and improve existing MS Access databases and Excel spreadsheets used for construction projects.
- Develop new objects in Excel and Access to support stakeholder needs.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide help desk support.
- Review and audit data entries for quality and accuracy.
- Create reports, graphs, and charts to present to managers.
- Learn SAP-based Enterprise Asset Management software.
- Perform general office duties including data entry and phone support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and MS Access.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to write effective reports and pay close attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage task priorities.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
