About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship at Metallus Inc. for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Canton, Ohio. This role provides hands-on experience in steelmaking and technical service engineering within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn steelmaking processes and internal procedures to help resolve small claim concerns.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and quality teams on customer projects.
- Conduct a bainite study for the ICI/Hyundai crank.
- Compile data to make property submittal recommendations to the TSE manager.
- Correlate ArcelorMittal tube yield with internal Metallus yield data.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Preferred majors include Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
