About the role#
Metallus Inc. is offering a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. This position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment while working alongside leadership and engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the rolling mill.
- Collaborate with the rolling mill team to complete an assigned project from start to finish.
- Partner with planners and schedulers to assist on various repair projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
