About the role#
Metallus Inc. is offering a full-time Maintenance Engineering & Reliability Internship for the Summer 2027 term. This on-site position provides exposure to the steel-making process and allows students to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with equipment design changes.
- Create and revise equipment drawings.
- Review functional equipment failures to determine root causes.
- Evaluate preventive maintenance tasks.
- Aid in the creation of job plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
