About the role#
Production Engineers at Meta build the infrastructure that powers our products and services. You will join teams across the company to ensure our systems remain reliable and performant. This role involves writing code, solving live production issues, and working on systems that support billions of users daily.
What you'll do#
- Manage back-end services for fleet management, front-end services, AI infrastructure, and core services.
- Maintain large-scale MySQL deployments and networking systems.
- Write and review code while developing technical documentation and capacity plans.
- Debug complex problems in live production environments.
- Partner with engineering teams to contribute code that goes directly into production.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Intent to return to your degree program after the internship concludes.
- Experience with a *nix or Windows operating system.
- Coding experience in at least one language, with 1 or more years of experience in languages such as Python, Hack/PHP, C++, Java, Rust, or GoLang.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and internet service architectures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.

- Compensation: $7,313 to $11,293 per month.
