About the role#
We are looking for motivated students to join us for a Summer 2027 internship in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site alongside project managers, shop managers, foremen, and field teams to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project startup activities, including understanding project scope and contract requirements.
- Support scheduling, procurement planning, and project coordination.
- Help create and maintain submittal logs and project documentation.
- Review drawings, layout information, and coordination documents.
- Assist with purchasing activities and material releases.
- Support vendor communication and project tracking.
- Draft and track RFIs.
- Review invoices and assist with job cost tracking.
- Support project communication, RFCOs, change orders, and closeout activities.
- Work with office and field teams to keep projects organized and moving forward.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Interest in electrical construction, project coordination, and future leadership opportunities.
