About the role#
Merit Brass Company is hiring a Marketing Intern for the Fall 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Cleveland, Ohio. You will gain practical experience in B2B marketing within the Pipe, Valve, and Fittings industry while building a portfolio of work samples.
What you'll do#
You will support the marketing department with a range of tasks including content creation, campaign execution, and performance reporting. Your responsibilities include:
- Editing marketing materials like brochures, product datasheets, and flyers.
- Researching industry trends, competitors, and target markets.
- Updating website content using SEO best practices.
- Compiling data from marketing campaigns for performance reports.
- Managing administrative tasks such as maintaining contact lists, organizing digital assets, and creating the internal newsletter.
- Assisting with social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Supporting video shoots and managing video platforms.
- Helping with trade show logistics and event preparation.
- Researching and procuring promotional goods and office supplies.
- Attending career fairs on college campuses.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college student studying Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A curiosity about B2B industries and a willingness to learn.
- You are organized, reliable, and ready to take on new challenges.
