About the role#
Meridian Health Services is seeking a Masters Level Clinical Social Worker intern for the Child and Family Services program in Jay County. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling term. You will work under the supervision of licensed therapists to provide care to individuals, couples, and families.
What you'll do#
- Observe clinical services and collaborate with Meridian employees on patient care.
- Assist with patient assessments, including interviews and psychological testing.
- Work with the treatment team to build individualized treatment plans.
- Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions under supervision.
- Use evidence-based therapy techniques to support patient progress.
- Attend case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
- Keep patient records accurate and current.
- Follow patient confidentiality policies and agency regulations.
- Take part in professional development and training opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- A driving record that meets company policy.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, extensive background check, and fingerprinting.
