About the role#
This is a Student Nurse Intern position within the Float Pool at Javon Bea Hospital. You will work in a PRN capacity, supporting our clinical teams across various departments. This role is open to nursing students who are nearing the completion of their degree.
What you'll do#
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
- Manage your time effectively to prioritize tasks and achieve goals.
- Respond promptly to requests for service and assistance from patients and staff.
- Conserve organization resources and work within established guidelines.
- Observe safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Report any potentially unsafe conditions immediately.
- Use all medical equipment and materials properly and safely.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- You must be in academic good standing.
- No more than two semesters remaining until program completion.
- An approved CPR or BLS certification, which must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
