About the role#
The Claims Analytics Internship provides hands-on experience in the strategies and tactics of MedPro Claims Adjudication. You will work on research, problem solving, and execution on initiatives that help advance claims results. This role offers insight into the insurance industry through technical work and daily analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare weekly claim activity reports and management metrics.
- Maintain the Defense Panel list and prepare the Defense Panel Scorecard.
- Create monthly Claims optimization presentations.
- Collaborate with Divisional Claim managers to optimize operational metrics.
- Validate monthly vendor reports, load them into the claim management system, and correspond with vendors.
- Select claims and prepare forms for quarterly audits.
- Assist with ad hoc data requests and claim audits.
- Participate in company and community activities.
What you'll need#
- Technical aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to perform research and solve problems.
- Interest in the insurance industry.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- The position is offered on a rolling basis.
