About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering student to join our Industrialization department in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under the supervision of the Production Manager alongside a team of Industrial Engineers and Technologists to support the industrialization of antenna and satellite products.
What you'll do#
- Participate in AI&T planning and improvement activities.
- Perform capacity analysis and create layouts to optimize production lines.
- Determine material flow and resource requirements for production.
- Manage and support the optimization of existing processes.
- Capture and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow up on continuous improvement initiatives to ensure implementation.
- Analyze internal processes to identify inefficiencies and risks.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, program manager, test, QA, and assembly teams.
- Suggest practical improvement ideas.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and process standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, with at least two years completed.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, LEAN principles, or other improvement methodologies.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with FlexSim or other production simulation software is an asset.
- A background in project management, logistics, or the aerospace sector is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass the Controlled Goods Program and ITAR assessment.
