About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Student to join our Processes and Automation department in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. You will work alongside technicians, assemblers, and engineers to support electronics production. This role operates in a project environment where you will manage schedules and budgets under the guidance of an experienced engineer. You will be treated like a new graduate and receive tasks based on your current level of experience.
What you'll do#
- Join the electronics production team to optimize manufacturing and testing activities.
- Coordinate daily tasks for assemblers and technicians.
- Act as a liaison between the production team and the design group.
- Resolve production and testing issues by gathering support from subject matter experts.
- Participate in the Manufacturing Review Committee to address technical challenges.
- Improve production processes and develop new manufacturing tools.
- Modify manufacturing documentation as needed.
- Track parts through the flow from inspection to final assembly and test stations.
- Attend team brainstorming meetings.
What you'll need#
- Completed second year of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automated Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated academic performance with a GPA above 3.0.
- Previous experience in microelectronic production or industrial engineering.
- Bilingual proficiency to interface with colleagues and suppliers outside of Quebec.
- Strong sense of initiative and a desire to learn.
- Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.

- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months, with a possibility of 8 months).
