About the role#
MCW Group of Companies is seeking a self-motivated Mechanical Engineering student for a full-time internship in the Toronto office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to mechanical system designs and gain professional experience within the consulting engineering industry. The position is available for the Fall 2026 term, with contract lengths of 4, 8, or 12 months.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various facilities.
- Help Engineers and Designers prepare technical drawings.
- Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
- Participate in site visits to support project needs.
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Engineering program, preferably Mechanical.
- Working knowledge or experience with AutoCAD or REVIT is an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
