About the role#
MCW Group of Companies is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to join the Toronto office for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to gain professional experience in the consulting industry. The role is open to students pursuing undergraduate studies in engineering, with a preference for those in mechanical programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various facilities.
- Help engineers and designers prepare technical drawings.
- Operate CAD and drafting workstations.
- Participate in site visits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate engineering program, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge or experience with AutoCAD or Revit is an asset.
- Strong communication skills.
- A proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A desire to work in a team-based environment.
