About the role#
As a Construction Project Management Co-op, you will join the team to support mechanical, plumbing, and controls construction projects. You will work directly with Project Managers and Field Foremen. This role involves both office-based tasks and occasional visits to active construction sites. You will be expected to take on more responsibility with each rotation.
What you'll do#
- Work with Project Managers to oversee projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule and procure materials and equipment.
- Update and project cost expenditures for project budgets.
- Plan with Project Managers and Field Foremen to meet major schedule milestones.
- Assist in the preconstruction phase by gathering quotes and performing take-offs.
- Obtain necessary permits, submittals, and project documentation.
- Survey project sites to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school.
- Major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Commitment to complete at least three full-time alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
- Ability to manage your time productively and meet challenging work goals.
- Strong communication skills to work with diverse teams, including field staff and fabrication shops.
- Attention to detail when handling multiple tasks.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time rotations in Spring 2027, Fall 2027, and Summer 2028.
- This is a paid position.
