About the role#
This internship provides graduate students with relevant field experience within a healthcare environment. You will work under the guidance of assigned mentors who provide instruction, support, and performance feedback. The internship is designed to align with your academic requirements, and the specific duration and schedule will be arranged based on your program needs.
What you'll do#
- Observe the daily functions and processes of your assigned work unit.
- Complete all internship-related assignments and reports for both the institution and your academic program.
- Execute selected work assignments to reinforce your learning and contribute to the team.
- Engage with mentors to receive guidance and professional assessment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s or graduate degree program with proof of enrollment required.
- Academic standing where the internship is either a graduation requirement or a credit option.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Preferred: Experience with Agentic AI technical implementation.
- Preferred: Previous internship experience at Mayo Clinic.
- Eligible majors include Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, Health Administration, Public Health, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Communications, and Logistics.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Jacksonville, Florida.
- Employees must reside within 100 miles of the assigned campus.
- On-site expectations are determined by the supervisor and will be discussed during the interview process.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
