About the role#
Marsh McLennan is seeking an intellectual and motivated student for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This role is based in Beaverton, Oregon, and requires you to work on-site Monday through Friday. You will gain exposure to client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics while working on projects that address real business problems. We provide access to mentorship, training, and resources to support your development.
What you'll do#
- Partner with teams on creative projects to support our brand.
- Collaborate across departments to support our mission and vision.
- Provide support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to assist with new business and retention.
- Build your professional network by working with managers, mentors, and other interns.
- Participate in national and regional industry classes to learn about our organization.
- Cultivate relationships with industry partners.
- Follow organization policies, service standards, and established workflows.
- Ensure quality control through accurate file documentation and maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality in all professional interactions.
What you'll need#
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date.
- Legal work authorization in the U.S.
- A desire to pursue a future career in risk management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to maintain positive team relationships.
- Dependability regarding deadlines, accuracy, and task completion.
