About the role#
Marsh McLennan is seeking students for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is a paid, on-site opportunity based in Montana. You will gain exposure to functional departments including client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience through projects that address real business problems.
What you'll do#
- Partner with teams on creative and diverse projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of your department.
- Provide support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to assist with business development and retention.
- Participate in national and regional classes to learn about the industry and organization.
- Cultivate industry relationships to grow your professional network.
- Follow organization policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure quality control through accurate file documentation and maintenance.
What you'll need#
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- A desire to pursue a career in risk management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines and completing tasks accurately.
- Legal work authorization in the U.S.

- Locations: Helena, Butte, and Missoula, Montana.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $18.85 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer relocation expenses.
