About the role#
This internship program provides hands-on experience for students pursuing engineering degrees. You will work alongside experienced professionals as a contributing member of a team. The program focuses on developing technical and leadership talent by exposing you to various business segments within the Logistics and Storage organization. You will gain experience across the five phases of the Marathon Project Management Process, which includes conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and start-up or close-out phases.
What you'll do#
- Develop project scopes and assist with technical design.
- Provide engineering oversight and handle project documentation.
- Create cost estimates and schedule developments.
- Evaluate and summarize bid sets.
- Supervise construction sites and provide safety leadership.
- Coordinate with operations groups to ensure project success.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work on-site for 40 hours per week.
- A valid driver's license for work-related travel, which ranges from 15 to 35 percent.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates available for multiple work terms.

- This is a paid, full-time position for Winter 2027.
- Work is performed on-site.
- Available locations include Findlay, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; La Palma, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
