About the role#
This internship program develops future technical and leadership talent within our Logistics and Storage organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals on diverse teams to create value for the company. The program allows for rotations between different Logistics and Storage components to provide exposure to various business segments and increasing levels of responsibility. You will gain direct experience in the five phases of the Marathon Project Management Process, covering conceptual design through project close-out.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development of project scope and technical design.
- Support engineering oversight and project documentation.
- Help with cost estimating and schedule development.
- Evaluate and summarize bid sets.
- Participate in construction supervision and safety leadership.
- Coordinate with various operations groups.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Continued enrollment in your degree program for the duration of the internship.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work on-site 40 hours per week.
- A valid driver's license for work-related travel, which may range from 15% to 35%.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
