About the role#
The Store Management Internship is an 8-week, paid, on-site program designed to provide exposure to the core functions of retail leadership. You will gain experience in customer service, merchandising, business analysis, store operations, and colleague development. This program serves as an introduction to the retail industry, with the potential for high-performing interns to be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to gain insights into leadership best practices and receive constructive feedback.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product merchandising initiatives.
- Learn to develop a customer-focused selling environment by coaching and training colleagues.
- Analyze business trends with partners to select merchandise that meets customer needs.
- Develop and present a project to store leadership, proposing new ideas for business growth.
- Engage with leaders across various business functions and participate in daily store operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- All majors are welcome to apply, including Business Administration, Marketing, and Human Resources.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a self-motivated, results-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving about the workplace, reaching, and handling items, as well as maintaining close vision.
