About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides exposure to the core functions of managing a retail department store, including customer service, merchandising, business analysis, operations, and human resources. The program runs from June 8 through August 1, 2026, and serves as an introduction to store leadership. Upon successful completion, interns may be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program (EDP) following graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to learn leadership best practices and receive constructive feedback.
- Shadow Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product merchandising initiatives.
- Engage with leadership across various business functions within the store and region.
- Develop a customer-focused selling environment by coaching and training team members.
- Analyze business trends to select merchandise and explore big-picture retail strategies.
- Propose new ideas for business growth through a final project and presentation to store leadership.
- Foster an environment of respect and authentic connection with colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred; all majors are considered.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a self-motivated, results-driven approach.
- Ability to solve problems and execute business strategies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to handle or feel; may occasionally require moving about the workplace and reaching.
