About the role#
The Store Management Internship is an 8-week, full-time, paid program designed to provide exposure to the leadership and operations of a retail department store. Interns gain hands-on experience in areas such as customer service, merchandising, business analysis, store operations, and human resources. This program serves as an introduction to retail strategy, with the potential for high-performing interns to be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to learn leadership best practices and receive constructive feedback.
- Shadow managers in operations and visual merchandising to plan and execute product initiatives.
- Analyze business trends with partners to select merchandise that aligns with customer needs.
- Engage with leadership across various business functions within the store and region.
- Develop a customer-focused environment by coaching and training team members.
- Explore retail strategies through business analysis and project work, culminating in a presentation to store leadership.
- Foster an environment of respect and authentic connection with colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- All majors are welcome to apply.
- Strong business acumen and a curiosity for developing modern retail operations.
- Ability to solve problems, drive results, and maintain a self-motivated, positive attitude.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for engaging with people.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to handle objects, and moving about the workplace.

- Term: Summer 2026 (June 8 through August 1, 2026).
