About the role#
The Store Management Internship is an 8-week, paid, on-site program designed to provide exposure to the core functions of retail leadership. Interns will gain experience in customer service, merchandising, business analysis, visual presentation, store operations, and colleague development. This program serves as an opportunity to evaluate professional fit, with potential for top-performing interns to be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to gain insights into leadership best practices and receive continuous constructive feedback.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product merchandising initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Analyze trends with business partners to select merchandise that better meets customer needs.
- Develop a customer-focused selling environment by coaching and supporting store colleagues.
- Engage with leaders across various business functions within the store and region.
- Demonstrate your learning through a project and presentation, consulting with store leadership to propose new ideas for business growth.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your junior year of an accredited bachelor’s degree program. A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred. All majors will be considered.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to take initiative.
- Sincere passion for engaging with people, supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen and a curiosity for developing modern retail strategies.
- Ability to solve problems and drive results.
- Physical ability to move about the workplace, sit, talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel objects.
