About the role#
As a Pro Delivery & Logistics Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the teams responsible for delivering products to our professional customers, including contractors and tradespeople. You will learn how fulfillment, pickup, replenishment, and logistics operations function to support the Pro business. This role provides exposure to project management, inventory planning, and cross-functional business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support delivery and fulfillment initiatives, including projects that improve Final Mile, Bulk, and Job Site Delivery experiences.
- Analyze operational performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Store Operations, and Pro teams to solve business challenges.
- Assist with reporting, presentations, and recommendations for key logistics initiatives.
- Use data and business insights to support process improvement and operational efficiency projects.
- Present your findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and demonstrate curiosity about complex operational processes.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or leadership roles in campus organizations is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina.
- The program runs for 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
