About the role#
The Post-Master's Fellowship is a two-year, full-time, paid training program for clinicians pursuing LMFT, LPCC, or LICSW licensure. This fellowship is designed to move beyond the standard pre-licensure focus on billing and hours, instead offering a structured, cohort-based environment centered on developmental and systemic psychotherapy. Fellows work in an interprofessional group, engaging in rigorous clinical training intended to form clinicians who can work with depth and relational process.
What you'll do#
- Provide psychotherapeutic services to a variety of clients under direct supervision, carrying a caseload of approximately 12–18 active clients.
- Participate in monthly seminars that integrate didactic content, guest practitioner-scholar presentations, and experiential activities.
- Engage actively in the supervisory relationship, utilizing 8 hours of monthly supervision as a collaborative professional process.
- Attend weekly didactic seminars and monthly grand rounds covering topics such as ethics, family systems, attachment, trauma, and psychopathology.
- Participate in monthly case consultations, focusing on clinical formulation and case conceptualization.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in psychology, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a closely related field.
- Successful completion of a clinically focused master's-level practicum or internship.
- Current status holding a non-provisional LGSW before the start date.
- Prior preparation in systems thinking, group relations, or relational and psychodynamic intervention models.
- A demonstrated commitment to the profession and the common good.
