About the role#
London Computer Systems is hiring a Software Developer Co-op or Intern to join our development team in Cincinnati. This is a full-time, paid position. You will work on-site to build and refine both web and desktop applications. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code.
- Design, test, and implement applications and databases.
- Participate in web application development, including GUI design.
- Collaborate with teams, other developers, and management to build new software features.
- Troubleshoot issues related to user interfaces, applications, and databases.
What you'll need#
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.
- Strong back-end development skills and experience with WPF.
- Proficiency with SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of the full software development life cycle.
- Experience with web or desktop application development.
- Ability to work on modules independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong interface design skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
