About the role#
As a Marketing Intern at LJA, you will support our Georgia team by helping produce proposals, graphics, and marketing materials. You will work with professional marketers to turn technical engineering and construction expertise into clear, compelling content that helps our teams win work.
What you'll do#
- Support pursuit efforts by helping plan and produce qualifications, proposals, interview materials, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Keep marketing content, such as staff resumes and project descriptions, sharp and easy to find.
- Review materials for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Create graphics, layouts, and visuals for brochures, presentations, and proposals.
- Organize marketing databases, libraries, and templates to assist the team during tight deadlines.
- Scout for new procurement opportunities through agency websites and industry sources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work under strict deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Experience researching procurement sources to track upcoming solicitations.
- Previous experience or coursework in the AEC industry, professional services marketing, or business development is preferred.
- Bonus points for experience with Canva, CRM databases, social media, event support, or visual storytelling.
