About the role#
This is a summer internship program based in Denver. You will work on-site, Monday through Friday, for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The program runs from mid-May through the first week of August. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the direction of experienced engineers.
- Shadow actual operations to learn about project phases and the day-to-day work of engineering.
- Complete unique assignments that support larger projects.
- Participate in social engagement activities.
- Learn about company sectors and services.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year of college.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A strong academic performance and high motivation.
- A sincere desire to learn about the industry and the company.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, and solid organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- The ability to collaborate and work well in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- A strong work ethic.
