About the role#
Insomniac Events is looking for a Street Marketing Intern to join the team in Calabasas for the Winter 2027 term. This role supports the Street Marketing team through a mix of administrative coordination, grassroots marketing execution, and onsite event support. You will gain hands-on experience in promotional marketing while working under the supervision of the Manager, Street Marketing.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Prepare marketing materials, including flyers, signage, and promotional assets for upcoming campaigns.
- Research local markets, community events, audience trends, and grassroots marketing opportunities.
- Manage inventory, track supplies, and keep marketing storage areas organized.
- Provide general support for special projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a focus on Marketing or Communications.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work out of the Calabasas office and travel throughout the greater Los Angeles area as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace.
- A motivated attitude and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Physical ability to carry, hang, and distribute materials, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Comfort working outdoors, on foot, and independently for extended periods.
- Ability to engage with the public and represent the brand professionally.
- Familiarity with dance music and Insomniac brands.
Location & details#
- Location: Calabasas, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Commitment: 16-29 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position. You must be able to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required to meet deadlines.
- Environment: You will work in an open-concept office and on-site at various event locations where you may encounter loud noise and varying temperatures.
